Still no news from Graduate Schools (and yes, I did find the mail key, or rather somebody did and handed it in to our manager). Hopefully today! We have had a rough week with kids being sick and Dallas being busy, but we are managing. Really life for us is still so good. Dallas and I still even found time to play our favorite board game, Carcasonne. Dallas played for two recitals over the weekend and one yesterday and will play for his last one today. Then he will just be busy playing for students' juries. He is a very hard worker. He finally got 100% on his French test today. He has been complaining about the 98% he has been getting. I am doing well. I am still trying to recover from a few nights with little sleep, but, man, I have 3 kids under 3 years old, what can I expect!! By the way, I set up some links on the right-hand column that will take you to some blogs by my sisters and sisters-in-law. (And some really out-dated ones from our parents) Check them out! I also set up some labels. You can click on a label and all other blog posts with that same label will show up. Have fun! Hope all is well with everyone else!

This is Lance and Amy Rondeau with their baby Lilia. We love hanging out with them!

Sophie

Sophie had her last day of Preschool on Friday. It made me so sad! She had so much fun! Dallas and I went for Parent Gathering. They made her a really cute digital portfolio, so I will have Dallas help me figure out how to put the pictures from it on the blog. Potty-training is going ok. I will be glad to be done.

Penny

Penny has been such a sweetheart lately. Poor girl kind of gets put on hold a lot because Gabe is sick and Sophie is potty-training. Last night I put Sophie to bed first and kept Penny up just so I could have a little one-on-one time with her. She loves the attention! She loves doing rhymes like The Itsy-bitsy Spider and Three Little Monkeys because she knows all the hand signs.

Gabe

Gabe has had quite a rough week. On Thursday, he had an appointment with a urologist in Idaho Falls and we learned that he is going to have to have surgery to remove some of the scarring from his circumcision. They have to wait until he is 6 months old when he can better tolerate being put under, so that will be in July. Then early Tuesday morning (2 a.m.) I took him to the ER because he was coughing and wouldn't stop crying. They did some tests and found out that he has RSV. He didn't have to be put on oxygen, luckily. He is pretty sick, but there isn't anything we can do for him because it is a virus. He has been a sport about it, though. They also found out he is anemic so I have to take him back in one week to get his iron levels tested again to see if he needs to be on an iron supplement. Other than that he is getting much more alert. He hates to be alone and loves watching his sisters play.

Hey again! This week has been wonderful because it has been so much warmer!! I have even convinced Dallas to go on a few walks with me. Dallas still hasn't heard anything yet, though I haven't been able to get the mail today because I lost our mail key!! We have all been a little stuffy this week, but other than that we are good-just trying to hang in there until the semester ends. I will keep everyone posted on grad schools. We are so anxious!

Sophie

So, yes, we are going to try potty training again. She is doing pretty good. I just feel like I am too busy always going places to really get it consistantly. Sophie has some pretty groovy dance moves, as you can probably tell. She loves being outside. Posted by Picasa

Penny

Penny is quite a gatherer. She spends the majority of her day trying to pick up as many things as she can. In the first two pictures, she is trying to carry as many pieces of chalk as she can. It took her about 30 minutes, but she finally got them all. Posted by Picasa

Gabe

I finally got him to smile for the camera!! He usually just stares at the camera. I have to trick him to get him to smile. He is changing so much. He absolutely loves when I sing to him. That always gets him to smile and coo. It is way cute. He has had a rough week. One night he cried inconsolably. Usually he is so easy tempered, so it really worried me. He seems to be just fine now, though he isn't sleeping very well at night any more. He also had to go to a urologist because his circumcision didn't heal right. He will have to have it fixed in a few months when he can tolerate the anesthesia better. Poor kid! Posted by Picasa

We all love going down the slides!! Posted by Picasa

Our Family. Posted by Picasa

This is the great Stick Hunt!! For some reason the girls felt like they had to gather all the sticks they could find at the park and create a little a little pile. Sophie instigated it, but Penny caught on quick. Funny girls. Posted by Picasa

Barbie Kites

The girls got Barbie kites from Grandma Cutler for Valentines Day. We finally took them out on Saturday with our friends, the Rondeau's. The girls liked them, but I think Dallas and Lance liked them even more! It was really fun. The girls held onto them pretty well most of the time. We did have a few runaway kites and one got stuck in a tree. That is why Dallas attached the kite to Penny's pants. Posted by Picasa
