Pretty much the same news here: the kids are getting big and we are doing well. Dallas has been quite a bit more busy lately. He played for 4 recitals last weekend alone. I finish summer school July 16th. I can't believe this semester is almost over. I have learned a ton. We are actually getting pretty excited to move to Arizona. (As long as we find housing in time!) I nervous for the actual move, though. It will be pretty crazy with three kids, who will probably be busy "helping".

Sophie

Sophie is still busy doing the things she loves. She is so much her own person! She said the other day, "Pink is my best and my favorite." She also tells Penelope what colors are her favorite. Luckily Penny is okay with that. In the second picture, I found her puppy propped up like this, reading Sophie's current favorite.

Penelope

For some reason, Penelope has been pretty grouchy lately. She can throw about the loudest, most dramatic tantrum I have ever seen. Maybe she senses those terrible twos coming. I think it may be out of frustration because she knows what she wants, but she can't talk well enough to let me know what it is (or I know what she wants, but just don't want her to have it.) Other than her bouts of unhappiness, she is such a sweetheart. She loves her puppy and playing outside, and has started to sing "Buh buh buh" ("Up above the world so high", from Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star), which is her favorite song.

Gabe

Gabe has been a joy like always. As you can see, he is close to sitting up on his own. He loves his sisters and is always really involved in what is going on.

Farewell to the Rondeau's!

So, our great friends, Lance and Amy Rondeau, moved this week. They have been so much fun to hang out with. It will be a lot different here at Madison Park without them. They are moving to California, and Lance is joining the Airforce.

Sunday night was the last time we hung out. I think Lilia and I were the only ones who didn't act like monkeys! (Well, my kids too. They were just sleeping.)

Sophie was pretty cute reading to the babies.

I got to babysit Lilia the day before they moved. Sophie pretty much took over, telling me what she needed, reading her books, and making sure she always had her binky. Even though Sophie kept her happy for a little bit, Lilia missed her mommy and wanted to go home.

We have known the Rondeau's for a really long time. We will miss them!

Josh and Mindy and their family came up to Rexburg the other day to look for housing. My girls were so happy to see them! We are so excited to have them closer, even if it is for only 1 month.

Aubrey and Sophie are so cute together. I bet it will be fun for them to grow up being so close to the same age. Hopefully we will live close enough to the Rowley's that they will know each other really well.

Gabe absolutely loved Emily! She was so cute with him, too.

My parents stopped by last week on their way to the Rydalch family reunion. It was good to see them. The girls of course gathered as many books as they could so Grandma could read to them. They sure do love Grandma and Grandpa Rydalch!!
