I know I always seem to lump the babies together, but shoot, they are kind of doing the same things and are approximately the same size and all. But anyhow, they are getting so fun, funny, and CUTE! Daphne has been crawling for some time, but I wasn't sure if Peter would ever do it; he was so content to scoot around, and was pretty fast about it. But today he crawled! It is so cute to have to little babies crawling around the house. I refer to them as the herd. They both are super happy most of the time and love anyone giving them attention. Peter has been especially happy lately. They seem to go back and forth who is the easier baby. Right now Peter seems to be the happiest generally. He will wake up in the morning and just talk to himself. And then when I go in there, he will get so excited he can barely contain himself. Oh, and it is so cute, because when I sing to him at night to get him to sleep, he will 'sing' with me. Daphne is also pretty happy, but hates to be left alone. Well, they both hate to be left alone and will crawl to find me. They both are starting to play peekaboo. It is adorable. And Sophie tells me that Daphne said 'Mama' today, so that is awesome. They kind of seem to be spitting up less, which is a relief. (But it is still more than normal, I am sure. People in the ward are wary of holding them due to the notorious puking.) I plan to shampoo the carpet in the next few weeks, because I bet there has been gallons of spit-up on these floors. One more reason to be thankful that we are renting! All in all, I have loved them since they were born, but I am falling in love with them all over again! Maybe it is because I know they are my last, but I try not to be as stressed and make myself enjoy everything about them.
